Cyber and Engineering Academic Center Taking Shape

On Wednesday, November 20, 2024, it was released that West Point’s newest academic facility will be named in honor of Major General George Washington Goethals, West Point Class of 1980.

The Cyber and Engineering Academic Center (CEAC) will be named Goethals Hall and will serve as the home for the Academy’s Departments of Civil and Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, and Systems Engineering.

Designed in partnership with the architecture firm Ewing Cole, the 136,000 square foot facility is scheduled for completion in late 2025.
